Music Teaching

I am very passionate about teaching music and have been teaching for 8 years. I teach in person in the areas around Brecon and Mid and South Wales and also online. I have spent a lot of time creating online resources making online lessons run smoothly and engaging. I offer lessons on harp (lever and pedal), piano, saxophone and music theory up to Grade 8 and flute and clarinet up to Grade 5. I also tutor GCSE and A Level music.

Lessons are £15 for half an hour and £30 for an hour.

Harp Lessons

Harp lessons are available from beginner to Grade 8+ and are available for children and adults. I have taught students from the age of 4 to 73 so know from experience that anyone can learn to play! I also teach harp workshops and on online and in-person courses.

Piano Lessons

I have been learning piano since I was only 3 years old and have since played in so many places. Piano is a great instrument to start on and is very accessible as a starter instrument. Lessons are available for beginners to Grade 8+ for all ages.

Saxophone Lessons

Saxophone is such a fun instrument and I personally really enjoy playing saxophone in lots of bands. There are different sizes of saxophones so I'm sure we can find one that fits you! Lessons available from beginner to Grade 8+ of any age.

Flute and Clarinet Lessons

Flute and clarinet are great instruments for playing in orchestras and concert/woodwind bands. Flutes are great for younger students wanting to start a woodwind instrument as they have developed smaller flutes for tiny hands!

Music Theory

Music theory is key in any musicians journey. It's never too early to start getting some music theory lessons under your belt as it will only aid in your instrumental lessons. For ABRSM music exams you have to pass Grade 5 Music Theory before you can go onto Grade 6/7/8 instrumental exams so starting earlier would be beneficial. Lessons available for Grade 1-8 for all ages.

GCSE and A Level Tutoring

GCSE and A Level tutoring is available for any students in year 10, 11, 12 or 13. This includes composition help, performance preparation, and written paper revision.
